China earthquake

On Monday, May 12 2008, an earthquake hit China killing nearly 9,000 people. it was said that it was ” one of the worst earthquake in the decades.”(ap.google.com) The earthquake also destroy small cities and towns. they said the “raising fears the overall death toll could increase sharply.”(ap.google.com) The last home for the great pandas was hit by the earthquake . They said that “80 percent of the surviving wild population in China.” (ap.google.com)A lot of people lost their life in China do to the earthquake. For some time they had trouble getting any content from people outside. They had no power, running water, or anything in China. Some of the people seat outside of the hospital waiting until it was their try.

on April 16 Matt LaPorte was killed by an assailant on the Virginia Tech Campus

how did you feel about the first 6 paragraphs after knowing who the author of this article was?

after reading the first 6 paragraphs and knowing that the author was his mother i felt like wow she must be a powerful person because she has the power to tell people about her son.

do you ever find yourself thinking “what if” after something bad happens? how do you settle your mind after “what ifs” circle mind?

yes, i do find myself thinking what if happen something bad happens. i settle my mind by saying if it never happen things won’t be the where they are now. things would have been way different because things do happen for some reason.

how do you feel about the authors thoughts on the circle of forgiveness?

my feeling to her thoughts of the circle of forgiveness is that it is true because you can’t always be in sorrow and grudges . things happen and you have to forgive those who made it happen because not forgiving will lead you to nothing. you don’t want to always have that one feeling left inside of you.

“no peter! seven times 70 times!? this one caught my eyes because it is saying that we have to forgive others like are whole life no matter what

“April 16 can be remembered as a very tragic day, or it can be remembered as the day that Matt reached perfection as a child of God.” this one caught my eye because it showing that Matt’s mom is not taking that day as such a bad one. she may of lost her son but she knows that he is in a better place and that he will always be remembered and loved.

my overall feelings on this article is that she is one powerful woman because she has the power to write this article and tell people how she feels about this day

What is global warming? Global warming is the earth growing hotter
Why do you think that Al Gore doesn’t want to talk about politics? i think Al Gore talks doesn’t talk about politics because i think he feels its important to know about the earth and whats going on with it.
What is “An Inconvenient Truth”? they said it was an unexperted hit
How did Al Gore tailor his presentation to the Evangelical Christians? What did he add for this audience? they said his presentation to the evangelical christians was a slide show and he added stuff from the bible.
When are global warming commercials coming out? the ads are said to be running this week
Do you think they will help people realize this issue? yes i do think that the commercials will help people realize because people are always watching t.v and when they see it they will finally realize whats going on.
How do you feel about the way the Gore family is paying for this? i feel like they are really good people for putting all their profits from their book into it so we can finally get whats going on around the world.
Why do you think Al Gore’s loss of presidency was beneficial to his new hobby? i think it was beneficial because if he didn’t lose he wouldn’t have the time to write his book and learn about whats going on to the world.
How do you think that other candidates pick themselves up after a losing campaign? they got anger for a while but moved on and telling themsleves they will done better next time
Why do you think he won an Oscar and the Noble Peace Prize for his movie? i think he won because he movie gave a message to the world
How do you feel about the training center that he will be building as an eco-friendly farm? i think that training center is good because people could go there and learn how to take care of the world there.

Plagiarism- is when you copy work from others and use it from word to word and don’t give that person credit for their work.

Plagiarism is bad because you are stealing other people work and making it yours. When they spend their time working on it and your just taking it and putting your name on their work.

no this is my first time.

i’m excited for all the different culture out there and seeing new things.

i wanted to go to italy since i was in 6th grade and i always wanted to go after learning about ancient italy

In so much of our drinking water worries among the scientist is the long-term result to human life. Of a five-month question, the AP found those drugs in the drinking water supplies of 24 main areas such as southern California to northern new jersey, and many others.
